Workout tips for Midsized women

Workout tips for Midsized women

As a mid-sized woman, it can be challenging to find the right fitness routine that works for your body type but don’t worry, Ya Bish Fit has got you covered.

If you are anything like us, you want the ability to be fit and healthy… without diet and exercise completely controlling your life. Flexibility and balance are key going into 2023 and we are for it!

Here are 5 fitness tips for mid-sized women:

  1. Focus on form, not weight.

When it comes to lifting weights or doing strength training exercises, it's important to focus on form rather than the amount of weight you're lifting. Proper form will help you get the most out of your workouts and prevent injury, while lifting too much weight can lead to strain and imbalance. Don't be afraid to start with lighter weights and gradually increase as you become more comfortable and confident. (Once you are comfortable and confident remember to progressively overload each week in a training cycle to ensure you are growing the muscles you are working)

  1. Find a workout partner with similar goals

Exercise can be more fun and motivating when you have a friend or family member to work out with. Not only will having a workout partner hold you accountable and keep you motivated, but it can also make the time fly by faster. Plus, you'll have someone to share your progress and accomplishments with.

  1. Mix up your workouts.

Doing the same workouts over and over can become boring and lead to a fitness plateau. To keep things interesting and challenging our programs include home and gym workout programs, core guides, cardio guides and carb cycle guides. This will help you avoid boredom and continue making progress. (We recommend 4 week training blocks to keep you stimulated while achieving max results)

  1. Don't compare yourself to others.

It's natural to compare yourself to others, especially when it comes to fitness and social media. It’s important to remember that everyone is unique and has different fitness goals and needs. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on your own progress and celebrate your own achievements.

  1. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

If you're new to fitness or have specific goals in mind the Ya Bish Fit programs cater to all midsize women’s needs and take the guesswork out of getting results

  • The Slim Thick program (most popular for mid size women as it’s designed to build the Booty, snatch the waist and lean and tone the upper body)
  • The Busy Bish Program (short sharp workouts for busy moms or career driven queens on a tight schedule)
  • The future wifey program (the ultimate bride guide to have you looking and feeling amazing on your big day)

Fitness is a journey, and it's important to focus on progress rather than perfection. As a mid-sized woman, you have the power to create a healthy and active lifestyle that works for you. Remember to focus on form, find a workout bish, mix up your workouts, avoid comparison, and choose a program that best suits your needs. With the right mindset and strategies, you can achieve your fitness goals and feel strong and sexy in your own skin!
